https://mellifera.farm/flowers Set on rolling forest, grassland and shaded draws near Troy, Idaho, Mellifera Farm was homesteaded in the late 1800's and maintained as a diverse family farm for much of the next century. Today, the farm is a special place, inspired by art and science, and dedicated to the sustainable production of specialty cut flowers, queen bees, beeswax, and Icelandic/Shetland sheep for meat and fiber. Our queen bees are bred and selected for local Pacific Northwest conditions. Sustainably grown cut flowers are produced on the farm as Melliflora. http://www.mellifera.farm/ (208) 305-9970 [email protected] https://www.instagram.com/melliflorallc/ +1 208-305-9970 Heritage and Stewardship This farm was a beloved place for another family before us and we are mindful that we are temporary stewards. The Anderson family immigrated from Sweden and homesteaded the place in the 1880's. We live in the house that they built in 1903, use the barn that they constructed in 1910, and have converted their icehouse into a feed shed. It is a privilege to care for the place and to share a piece of it with you through the meat, fiber and beautiful flowers that we produce here.
